Sarah Greave’s First Solo Show “Pulling the Threads”
In  her first solo show Sarah uses the traditional craft of embroidery to  vandalise and graffiti everyday objects with emotive, political and  thoughtful text. Fridges, doors, food and sinks become the canvases for  hidden thoughts.

For Akemi in the Arndale and La:La Vol.2, Artist and filmmaker Ric Jones Did a small installation Entitled “Things i never said” filled with luggage tags with things he had never said at certain moments when he really should have. Some tags were left blank for people to fill out themselves. Here are what some people wrote:
“how can you be doing this to me”
“i dont like this”
“thats a nice Walrus”
“your dick is weirdly thin”
“I Want to kill Justin Bieber By setting him on fire”
“I really love all of you guys you make me feel really lucky”

So Coming your way this Friday are a massive selection of musical goodness which is appropriate givin the setting. Heres some deets and some links check em all. And come dance away an afternoon.
Taylor and the Mason: “Taylor and the Mason took me by surprise, amazingly close harmonies” “You’re dead good and that, but need funds for a guitar strap!” Taylor and the Mason are an acoustic duo based in Manchester, made  up of singer-songwriters Sally Mason and Becky Taylor. They have been  gigging in and around Manchester pedalling their own brand of  folky-acoustic-pop type music for about two years:
Age of Glass:If you came down to the last La:La at the contact then you would have caught their blinding set… hence they are back:

Butcher The Bar: (pictured) There’s a subtlety and honesty to this music that’ll keep you  returning to it for a good long while. Highly Recommended - Boomkat Butcher Also happens to have an album out the same day. Check him:
